Scott joined Barr Law Group in January 2003. Subsequently, Scott received his Bachelor’s Degree at Woodbury College and enrolled in Vermont’s 4-year law study program and was admitted to the Vermont bar in 2014.
Scott primarily practices in litigation, but also practices in the areas of personal injury, probate matters, real estate, and corporate law. During his years serving as a law clerk, Scott worked closely with other attorneys in areas including construction disputes, defamation, breach of contract, property and transaction disputes, medical malpractice, civil rights, Vermont Supreme Court appeals, Native American, CIS EB-5 transactions and probate court matters.
Scott was born in Englewood, NJ and spent his primary school years in Toms River, NJ before moving to Stowe, VT his junior year in high school. Following high school and prior to joining Barr Law Group, Scott worked in the evenings as a bartender and spent his days golfing and skiing. While Scott still enjoys golfing and cross country skiing, he spends most of his free time with his partner Andrea and their son Caden. Scott enjoys watching his son’s sporting events and attending UVM hockey games with the family. Scott has served as a volunteer on the Stowe Winter Carnival Committee and as a T-Ball coach. Scott also serves as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem for the Lamoille Unit Probate Division.
